DIY Repair Shop:
We are working towards getting funds and supplies to run a do-it-yourself bicycle repair shop that might be
run a few times a month during warmer weather. The repair shop would allow UTSC staff and students to come in and
do some basic repairs to their bicycles themselves with the guidance of UTSCC volunteers. The aim of this shop would
be to provide repair education and repair resources to the UTSC community.There are currently no DIY repair shop days
being run.
In the Mean Time:
The UTSCC is looking for some volunteers to help overhaul BikeShare's bicycles. BikeShare was a free bike signout
service offered by the SCSU. The program is now in the process of being taken over by the campus' Sustainability,
Athletics, and Residence organizations. Running repairs on these bikes is an excellent chance to learn repair skills
while recieving detailed lessons from experienced bike mechanics.
