Evergreen Steering Committee

The Evergreen Steering Committee is a multi-stakeholder group that meets periodically to oversee the partnership between U of T Scarborough and Evergreen.

The Evergreen Steering Committee (ESC) is a collection of relevant faculty, staff, students, and Evergreen representatives that set the agenda for and review the performance of the partnership between U of T Scarborough and Evergreen. The partnership has three primary objectives:

  • to deliver a program of environmental restoration and education projects that enhance the natural environment of the campus
  • to provide unique hands-on experiential learning opportunities for U of T Scarborough students
  • to engage the broader community in the greening of the U of T Scarborough campus.

The ESC is chaired by the Manager of Environmental Health & Safety, Sustainability, with executive oversight from the Director of Facilities Management, a chief faculty representative, and the Chief Administrative Officer.
