In August 2007, U of T Scarborough began receiving service for the collection of organic waste from the Bluff’s Restaurant and Aramark kitchens. As a result, 20 bins per week of organic waste are delivered to a composting facility instead of being sent to a landfill. Ultimately, we would like to expand this program to the dining areas of campus, provided community members can use them responsibly.
