In Development

The Sustainability Office is always working on new projects and initiatives that will promote a better relationship between U of T Scarborough and the environment. The projects listed below are currently in development, but it is not certain at present whether they are viable, or when they will be completed if they are.

Sustainability Peer Educators

We are just about to launch a sustainability peer group aimed at promoting sustainable behaviours and practices amongst campus community members.

Sustainable Campus Guidelines

We are working on a set of documentation that will broadly encourage how the campus can operate and develop in a sustainable manner.

UTSC Sustainable Food Initiatives

We are currently assessing a variety of possibilities for promoting a closer link between the campus and local sustainable food growers.

Waste Management Improvements

We are working with Facilities Management to further improve and develop our recycling programme.
