youth counselling organization
Co-op programs in Social Sciences are offered in Anthropology, City Studies, Health Studies, International Development Studies, International Studies, Public Policy and Sociology. These are direct entry programs, though there are some limited possibilities for students with high GPAs to transfer into them at the beginning of their second year.
With the exception of International Development Studies these programs offer the student the opportunity to do two paid work terms of four months each that will provide them with practical work experience in their chosen field of study. The exception is International Development Studies, in which the placement is in a less developed country, often with a non-governmental organization, for a period of eight to twelve months.
