Moving Out

The last day of residence for the Fall & Winter Session 2012-2013 is Tuesday April 30th, 2013.

Please read the following checkout options carefully

Express Checkout

An Express Checkout is now an option for students who cannot book a proper checkout time, or if the R.A. on duty and/or it is outside the Student Housing Office hours. The envelopes are located in the magazine rack outside the Student Housing Office and students will need to seal their keys into the EXPRESS CHECKOUT ENVELOPE and submit to the Student Housing Office.

Please Follow The Steps To Have A Successful Express Checkout:

  1. Have to your unit cleaned and your bedroom door locked for your final departure.
  2. Fill out all of the information required on the Express Check out Envelope. The envelopes will be available at the Student Housing Office, on the Residence Centre brochure display and will be available from the Residence Advisor on duty.
  3. Submit the Express Check out Envelope to the Student Housing Office. If you are submitting the envelope after business hours, please place it in the afterhours drop off box located outside the Student Housing Office. (Look for signs for the location of the drop off box).

Please note: If keys are not returned upon check out a key charge will be posted to the resident's ROSI account. Residents are responsible for all damages caused to their houses, rooms or apartments. The Student Housing & Residence Life facilities staff will be inspecting the unit after a resident has checked out, damage or cleaning charges will be assessed and posted to the resident's ROSI account.

Checkout During a Session

Storage

Temporary Storage

There are a limited number of storage lockers available to be used between academic sessions (no longer than a 14 day period). To be eligible for a locker you must be a current residence student. The student must provide their own lock, and must be willing to fill and empty the locker at times arranged by the Maintenance Department. To inquire about locker availability please contact 416.208.2671.

Long Term Storage

Student Housing & Residence Life Office has contacted an offsite company that for a fee will store student's belongings. However, it is ultimately the student's responsibility to find his/her best storage solution.

Store Your Dorm

They pick-up your goods from your room, store them over the session and then deliver them back when requested. Prices start from $25 a month, $100 for the summer.
