Research
Alexa is interested in the process of empathy. Specifically, she
explores why people feel empathy for some people but not others, and
how humanness may play a moderating role. She is also currently
investigating how people are able to control their behaviour, and
specifically how the inner voice might be involved in this process.
Her work is founded in a social neuroscience approach, using both
behavioural and neurophysiological measures to investigate multiple
facets of psychological phenomena. |
