Economics of media (implications of fixed costs in communications systems; Economics of the structure of space and time; Economic aspects of the production of myth; materialist epistemology).

History of economic thought (Marx and the classical model of distribution and growth; Harold Innis’s theoretical framework; Marshall’s demand theory and Giffen goods; Keynesian and Ramseyian probability, uncertainty, and information).
