With its focus on a broad set of learning experiences, the Management Program equips students with the necessary management skills to become future business leaders.  Through challenging assignments and interactive classes students are encouraged to further develop the communication, teamwork and negotiation skills which are vital to success in the professional environment.  Students are also challenged to expand and develop their analytical thinking and problem solving skills to deal with various management, economics and societal issues and concerns.  Furthermore, the Scarborough campus is the only U of T campus that offers the Co-operative Education Program option, which innovatively combines academic studies with real work experience.  The Co-op Program goes above and beyond to prepare students for the business world, giving them a competitive advantage over other graduates.

The Department of Management, located in a new architecturally advanced building, is equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms specifically tailored to the way Management students study and learn.  From comfortable common spaces to tiered, horseshoe-shaped classrooms and skills rooms, students and faculty are able to connect in a professional and friendly atmosphere.

Throughout the year, MESA (Management and Economics Students' Association) hosts over 30 activities and events relevant and of interest to Management students, including the Street-egic Edge, a challenging business competion, and the LIVE business conference.  Through MESA students are provided with many opportunities to learn, grow and build life-long friendships.
