management positions at top-notch firms.
Call for Executives - Vacant positions
The UTSC Management Alumni Association (MAA) is an organization committed to developing a strong community within the UTSC management alumni body. Inspired by the University of Toronto’s motto Velut Arbor Aevo, “may it grow as a tree through the ages,” we believe that by strengthening the bonds between alumni and our alma mater, the MAA will positively contribute to our alumni’s professional and personal growth. With our collective experience and knowledge, the association will also seek to foster the continuous development of the UTSC Management program as the premier undergraduate business management program in Canada.
Join us in our effort to foster a stronger alumni community! We are seeking candidates to fill the following MAA Executive positions which are currently vacant (all positions are two-year terms):
- President
- Treasurer
- VP, Business Development and Operations (Position: Filled)
- Director, Marketing and Communications (Position: Filled)
- Manager, Information Systems
- Director, HR and Engagement (Position: Filled)
- Manager, Social Events
- Manager, Community Engagement
- Manager, Professional Development
- Class Representatives – pre-2000, 2000-2002, 2003-2005, 2006-2008, 2009-2012

Eligibility criteria:
To be eligible for an Executive position with the UTSC AA, the applicant must meet the membership requirements of the UTSCAA, articulated below.
The membership of the UTSC Management Alumni Association shall include:
- every graduate of the UTSC Management department, including graduates of programs in Economics for Management Studies
- every student of the UTSC Management department, including graduates of programs in Economics for Management Studies, who has successfully completed one year of full-time study or four(4) course equivalents and is no longer enrolled at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
Application guidelines:
To apply, submit your application to Sheri Browne at sbrowne@utsc.utoronto.ca. Please note, applicants are eligible to apply to multiple positions. Each application should include:
- a resume and
- a rationale stating why you are suitable for the position(100 to 350 words)
If you intend to apply to more than one position, please ensure to submit an application for each position you are applying for.
The deadline to submit your application(s) for the executive positions is Tuesday, September 4th, 2012.
