Admission Requirements

 

 

Each year roughly 420 students will be admitted to the Specialist Programs in Management and Economics, which includes about 160 students for the Co-operative Program.  Most of the students in Co-op and half of the non Co-op students are admitted directly from high school; the rest are considered for admission after successfully completing one year of university.

 

High School Students  

 

Approximately 250 students will be admitted into the Specialist Programs in Management directly from high school. Admission is based on academic performance and the completion of required high school prerequisites. Visit Admissions & Student Recruitment for more information.

From September to December, representatives from the University of Toronto Scarborough conduct secondary school visits to provide essential information regarding entering the university and to answer any other questions.  To find out when we will be at your school, please check out the Secondary School Visit Schedule.

 

Non-Management Students  

 

The Department of Management is pleased to admit students from other disciplines or areas of study at U of T Scarborough to the Specialist Programs in Management and Economics. In order to be considered for these Programs, students must have completed the required Management courses and have completed no more than 10 full course equivalents.
