The Department of Management offers a range of excellent academic programs, equipping students with top-level managerial skills that will enable them to excel in a rapidly changing and more integrated world.

Specialist Program in Management or Specialist Program in Economics (BBA Program)
After completing either the Specialist Program in Management or Specialist Program in Economics, students will receive a prestigious BBA degree. We believe our BBA Program is the best undergraduate business program in Canada. We have a clear and unique vision of undergraduate management education to provide relevant management education that is closely connected to the business community and to careers in business. Furthermore, within the B.B.A. Program, students have the option of specializing in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, International Business, Information Technology, Management, Marketing and Strategic Management.
All BBA Management Specialists have a Co-op Option
Our BBA Program has the Co-op Program option, which uniquely combines academic studies with work experience giving students the chance to enrich their learning experience.
BA in Economics Program (Major or Minor)
Students who have decided not to pursue the BBA degree have the option of working towards a BA degree through either the Major or Minor Program in Economics. These are both Arts degrees. The Major Program consists of six FCEs of Economics, one half FCE in Mathematics and one in Humanities. The Minor Program consists of four FCEs of Economics. Certificate in Business Program
The Certificate in Business Program is a part-time Program designed to provide students with the skills they need to function as managers in today's rapidly changing world.
Many different career opportunities are available to students who graduate with a B.B.A degree from U of T Scarborough. These include careers in Finance, Investment, Banking, Accounting, Management Consulting, Human Resources and Marketing.
For help on deciding which area of study is best for you, visit the Specialist Options for specific information about possible careers in each area. Also, students may view career tip sheets online at the Academic Advising & Career Centre. It is also a great resource to obtain career planning assistance through seminars, individual career counseling sessions and extensive online and print resources.
