About Us
An educational partnership that enhances the student experience
Canada’s top-ranked university and Ontario’s first community college have combined resources to offer collaborative degree programs in five areas in which each institution has academic strengths and common interests.
The partnership was launched in 2003 with three programs (journalism, new media and Paramedicine) allowing direct entry after high school.
Students in the joint programs have access to the teaching and research excellence of both institutions, as well as the leading edge academic and extra-curricular facilities to maximize their learning experience.
Graduates earn an honours bachelor degree in arts or science from U of T and can complete a field component to qualify for a diploma or certificate from Centennial College. In most cases, students are able to reduce six years of study to approximately four, resulting in a tremendous savings in time and money.
The solid foundation in university and college studies, combined with relevant field experience, positions graduates well on their way to an exciting career future.
