G1265 WEBSITE

The student-run G1265 functions as a learning laboratory in which students gain experience in every aspect of gallery operations. The work-study student staff is provided with the tools – budget, resources and staff support from the DMG and VPA Studio – to run the gallery each academic year, learning skills around curatorial research and effective presentation, developing budgets and marketing plans, and enhancing their problem-solving abilities.

G1265 WORK OPPORTUNITIES are also available every September, for the academic year.

- Organize and market student-focused art events and programs (performances, talks, workshops and more!)
- Learn about art galleries and careers in the arts with organized gallery tours and professional practice talks and workshops
