Peter Kingstone, Acting Visual/Media Arts Officer at the Toronto Arts Council, will provide an overview of grant programs and an exchange on the application process. The discussion will focus on Visual and Media Arts for individual artists, though project-based grants may also be included. Kingstone will walk participants through the steps involved in writing a grant, sharing perspective and tips on building a narrative, addressing audience, and submitting documentation and other support material. The session will include ample time for questions!
