Led by DMG exhibiting artist David R. Harper, this workshop taught the basics of embroidering on non-traditional surfaces, in this case, a photo-based image. Early registrants had the option of working with a photograph they supplied.
Cost: $50 plus materials fee of $10. Registration fee was waived for University of Toronto students.
ITINERARY
11 am - 11:45 am: Artist talk, with Q+A
11:45 am - 12:30 pm: Stitching demos
12:30 - 1 pm: Lunch (not provided, participants to bring their own)
1 - 4 pm: Individual needle projects, one-on-one consulations with David
