Course Outline

Here's the first section of the Course Handbook for 2010 (as a Word File) and here it is again (as a PDF).  Part 2 of the Handbook (covering Weeks 2 through 4) is also available, but it is on the Intranet (go to www.utsc.utoronto.ca and click on the Intranet button).

You should download the course handbook from the UTSC Intranet to get the outline of readings and problem sets to be done each week, along with the weekly tutorial questions.....(what a lot of work!!....:))

And, for those students who have the old textbook (12th Canadian edition instead of the 13th), here is the first section of the Course Handbook for 2009.  Of course the dates in the 2009 Handbook are wrong, but it has the correct page numbers for readings for your copy of the textbook.

If you think this course is scary, try these on for size.  #1 is a black bear that came to visit us at the cottage.  #2 is a dock spider (about the size of your hand) taking a ride in the boat.  Now you see, this course isn't really very scary at all....:)
