While you are here, let's talk about the selection of your "electives" (courses not required by your psychology programme but that count for degree requirements).  The requirements of the psychology programmes leave room for courses in other disciplines.  In fact, the selection of courses that increase your "breadth" of study is encouraged.  What a terrific opportunity to take a course in Art History and learn about Pablo Picasso and other great artists. Or choose a course in Music and develop a new appreciation for musical genres and styles.  And how can you pass up learning about  Literature when you are surrounded by experts who can make the reading of your next book a much richer experience?  Go through the calendar with an open mind and complement your study of psychology with courses that can have an impact on the rest of your life.
