The Departmental Assistants Committee is comprised of all administrative and academic business officers of the University of Toronto Scarborough. There are currently 31 members. The committee meets at least four times per year. The
Chair of the Departmental Assistants Committee is Kim McLean, Chief Administrative Officer.

The purpose of the committee is to provide a forum for providing information
updates to and receiving feedback from the business officers across the campus. It is an excellent forum for updating the business officers regarding current issues and developments on campus. It also provides the opportunity for Managers to get feedback from the business officers regarding changes to campus operations and
new initiatives.
