Test/Exam Request Process
In June of 2010, UTSC’s AccessAbility Services department successfully launched a new online system for students working with disability-related note taking accommodations. The online tool is called My AccessAbility Information Management System (myAIMS).
As a result of faculty and student feedback, we expanded the system to support both students and their instructors with the process of managing test/exam related accommodation requests.
Instructors can expect the following:
This module allows you to input the details of your test only once, regardless of the number of student accommodation requests. All information will be available online, which means it can be updated and checked anytime, as long as you have web access.
We welcome your feedback about this new process and we are committed to applying it to the ongoing development of myAIMS.
Finally, despite our best efforts to communicate these changes to all students, some students may still approach you with the traditional paper forms. If so, please feel free to redirect the student to the AccessAbility Services office.
Please direct any feedback or questions to our exam office staff at 416-208-4722 or by email at accessexams@utsc.utoronto.ca.
