UTSC's Communications & Public Affairs department provides the university community with guidance, support and strategic direction to enhance UTSC's reputation as a hub for academic excellence, cutting-edge research and dynamic cultural experiences.

We are tasked with telling the UTSC story to our many stakeholders?including prospective and current students?promoting the research of our award-winning faculty, and engaging our internal community.

Here's a brief list of some of the other things we do:

  • The UTSC Annual Review summarizing campus achievements
  • The annual student recruitment Viewbook (produced in collaboration with Admissions & Recruitment)
  • UTSC Commons a new semi-annual magazine for alumni, friends and the UTSC community
  • Website news and content, as well as facilitation of a campus-wide digital experience
  • Inside UTSC, a newsletter for staff and faculty
  • Media releases and responding to media inquiries
  • Program-specific and campus marketing and advertising
  • Social media communications
  • Promoting the UTSC brand and identity
